Fiona is a loving and sweet dog. She was dumped at our shelter one night and has been calling our shelter home ever since. She can be protective, like most dachshunds, so she would need to be in a family that is more mature, probably not with children under the age of 12. She is crate trained and will likely make an easy transition to an indoor home. She plays well with the other dogs in the yard so having a canine companion in her new home would be acceptable to her!
